ArmA 2 v1.05 Patch

Bohemia Interactive has released a new patch for ArmA 2!
Patch v1.05 for this sequel contains various bug fixes, gameplay tweaks and performance improvements. It also includes a free bonus campaign (Eagle Wing), a free bonus helicopter addon (AH-64D), as well as a new Warfare multiplayer mode (When Diplomacy Fails), including 3-sides and support for diplomacy between factions.

Changelog:
Updating the game to version 1.05, the patch delivers the following bug fixes, gameplay tweaks and performance improvements:
• Free bonus campaign Eagle Wing
• Free bonus helicopter addon AH-64D
• New Warfare multiplayer mode When Diplomacy Fails, including 3-sides and support for diplomacy between factions
• Major AI tweaking and balancing (better combat cooperation, better situational awareness, new Suppressive fire command)
• Significant performance improvements, especially in large cities
• Fixed compatibility problems under Windows Vista and Windows 7 x64 with 8 GB and more RAM
• Grass now provides concealment also in distance
• Improved hit detection and damage system
• Improved object visibility and less significant objects popping in distance
• Improved mouse input handling
• Spatial sound improvements
• Automatic launching of user made addons (units, missions etc.) via “pbo” file association with the game
• Possibility to switch between windowed and fullscreen mode at any time in game menus using Alt + Enter or through video options
• Various crash opportunities fixed
• Linux server support added
• New GUI to various dedicated server settings
• New GUI for multiplayer commands
• Enabled commanding during story conversations
• FreeTrack support using FreeTrackClient.dll
• DRM free
• Optional anti-cheat protection

CoD: MW2 New Patch – new problems (on PC)

After the latest Patch (1.0.174) for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was published over Steam (and XBox Live + PSN), PC players are now facing new problems.
During patch install or when they want to join a hosted match for a multiplayer game, they receive following message:

“patch_mp.ff is different from the Server”

The console players have no problems, but PC players do!

Here is a workaround (until Infinity Ward gets their ass up and fix it):

Crysis Wars Trial – Keys Available!

You wanted to try out Crysis Wars? So why wait? Just do it!

Here is the message, I received today:

We hope that by now you have been able to download the entirety of Crysis Wars and you’ve had a chance to train with your friends on LAN, because now, you are going to be able to play online! Please be sure to read through this entire post before asking questions, as we’ve tried to make sure that everything is covered and kept simple in this piece of news. If you do have genuine questions though, obviously you can feel free to ask on the forums.

It’s now even easier for you to generate yourself a trial key. All you need to do is visit our forums on MyCrysis.com and at the top of the page there will be a button allowing you to generate your trial key. Then just open Crysis Wars and enter the key once prompted for it when you select internet game.

The trial keys will be enabled from Saturday 19th December 21:00 until Tuesday 29th December 21:00 CET
