BF:BC2 – Concrete release date for PC-Beta?
It is not confirmed by EA or DICE, but GameStop announced the start of the PC-Beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 at January, 28th 2010. It is expected to end on February, 25th.
Asked for the reason of pushing it to 2010, Gordon Van Dyke mentioned, that the big success of the PS3 beta is one reason.
They have to upgrade the server infrastructure to serve all the expected requests for BC2 on PC.
The PC version will offer 32 players (instead of 24 on consoles), full DX11 support, Clan-Support, Squad-Gameplay and ranked + private dedicated servers.
The full version will be released March, 5th 2010.
